Mobility in Greece

Participants from all our project’s countries   were warmly welcomed in our school, the 5th primary school of Volos, between  13th – 17th December 2021.  Many an interesting  activities took place during the mobility.

With the contribution of the head of the “Health Course” center   we   realized the complexity of the human body and the importance of touch through multisensory activation by performing “Walk, Feel…Learn”, a reflexology activity . We also performed Body Percussion in Greek songs’ rhythm. The participants found out that our bodies can be instruments and by using different parts of the body we can play the rhythm of different songs. Participants learnt to play the rhythm by using different body parts for famous Christmas songs as well as traditional Greek songs. What followed was the presentation of the partners’ countries and their hometowns prepared and shown by the students.

We also visited  the Lyceum of Greek Women of Volos where  we came in contact with the tradition and cultural heritage of our place and sang traditional Greek carols.
